How funding support worksA little context for your estimate
Kela’s basic allowance and any municipal supplement may reduce what your family pays. The municipality where you live matters; income-related support and sibling support have separate conditions.
The three-day and four-day options include 10 hours per day: 30 and 40 contracted hours per week respectively. Five-hour days are capped at 25 hours weekly; four-hour part-time days are strictly capped at 20. The five-hour and four-hour options do not include the ordinary Helsinki municipal supplement, which requires more than 25 contracted hours per week. Espoo support for the 20/25-hour options, cross-city arrangements, five-year-olds and pre-primary need individual confirmation. Please contact us for a personalised estimate.
